Control knobs - analog or digital
Our setting knobs can be combined with our manual adjusters and potentiometers for precise setpoint specifications. There are analog and digital setting knobs, as well as simple rotary knobs with a recessed grip. There is also a version with a built-in push button (OMT). The analog control knobs have a graduated scale and show the number of full turns in a separate window. The digital adjustment knobs have a numerical roller that displays the values from zero to a maximum of 9999. Variants with a locking brake prevent the adjustment knob from being unintentionally adjusted by vibration or touch.
The right choice of button dimensions is also important for operation. Setpoints can be set more quickly with small knobs, while larger knobs allow the setpoints to be determined more precisely. The environmental conditions of the application also have an influence on the haptic properties.
The setting knobs with flexible coupling are ideal for demanding applications. The internal mechanics enable very precise coupling of the potentiometer shaft. This results in very smooth rotations with a constant torque.
