Classic cylindrical slip rings and disc slip rings

Our customers face a variety of challenges in choosing the right product. Questions arise about the right size of slip ring, the available space may be tight or there are special requirements for conductivity, stability or noise development. In this article, we would like to introduce you to two different types of slip rings - the classic cylindrical slip ring and the very flat disc slip ring. Our cylindrical slip rings are characterised by their versatility and stand out due to their very attractive prices. The rings of these slip rings can be combined and they are ideally suited for high speeds. With the appropriate brushes, they can be used for currents up to 500 amperes. Our classic slip rings score points for their very simple assembly as well as their high reliability and long service life.
Disc slip rings, on the other hand, have a very flat design. The inner diameter is between 12.7 and 60mm and this type of slip ring impresses with its very low contact resistance. They are the solution when the application offers only limited space for installation.
